Microdermabrasion is nothing new and has been used in spas and dermatologist’s offices for years. But it is only in recent years that it has become something that can be done at home without any proper training.

What Is Microdermabrasion?

As this procedure has become more and more common, many people are asking “What is dermabrasion?” Although you may think that it is a unique form of skin rejuvenation, in reality all it is really doing is gently removing the outer layer of your skin. Much like what happens after a sunburn when your skin peels away, you are left with smoother skin with fewer wrinkles and imperfections.

Of course, microdermabrasion is a lot easier on your skin than a sunburn and is actually more beneficial than simply scrubbing away at your skin by yourself. The closest thing that you could imagine that would be close to this process is when you sandblast paint from a house or driveway. When you use microdermabrasion, you are essentially sandblasting your face with tiny, gentle micro-crystals. These crystals slough off all of the dead skin to leave only healthy skin behind.

What Else Should You Know?

When people are wondering what is dermabrasion and what will it do for their skin, it really depends on what type of skin issues you have. If you are just concerned with looking a little younger, then this is the ideal way to do it. Once you have removed the top layer of skin and all of those dead cells, you will instantly look younger, with fewer wrinkles and imperfections.

Additionally, people with acne scarring, sun spots, or other issues may find that this is the perfect way to turn back the hands of time on their skin. Dermatologists have long used this technology to help reduce the scarring from severe acne, whether it is on a patient’s face, chest, or back.

Is This Safe?

When you do dermabrasion on your own at home, in many ways it is safer than if you had it done in your local spa. When you do it at home, it is easier to do just a little bit at a time and gauge how it works for you. If you find that you have no side effects after each treatment, you can proceed with the next one. This is an easy, affordable, and very safe way to make your skin look younger, smoother, and free of the signs of aging.

Now that you know what microdermabrasion actually is, we recommend you continue your reading via our review of what we believe to be the number one at home product on the market today – Microderm MD

Most people have seen what others look like after they have come out of a microdermabrasion session. Usually, their skin looks red and raw, literally like the top layer of their skin has been peeled off. Generally speaking, the more you pay for your treatment, the greater the microdermabrasion side effects will be and the longer it will take for you to recover.

When you get this treatment done at a doctor’s office, they have the tools and the technology to really peel away at your skin. On one hand, this means that all of your dead skin will be gone, but on the other hand, the microdermabrasion side effects will be severe. It is not unusual for someone who has undergone this type of treatment to have to stay indoors for a week or more to protect their raw skin.

When you get a treatment done in a spa or salon, they usually have a less effective type of microdermabrasion tool, but then again, they are usually less experienced at using it. This means that accidents can happen, technicians can go too far with the dermabrasion, and you may be left with more microdermabrasion side effects than you could have possibly imagined.

If you are looking for the safest, and by far the most affordable, way to get rid of your dead skin cells and let your younger, smoother skin shine through, then you should consider buying one of the many new microdermabrasion kits that are available. These are specifically designed for using at home and are extremely easy to use, even for people who have never experienced this type of treatment.

These kits have everything you need to treat your own skin, and because you can do it in a more gradual and safer manner, you will have fewer microdermabrasion side effects. Some people might tell you that you will get a far more effective treatment from a professional, but then again the potential for extreme side effects such as burnt skin, scarring, or pain is much higher. When you do it on your own at home, the side effects are few.

If you are tired of seeing wrinkles and fine lines in the mirror, or you want to get rid of age-old acne scars or even newer age-related spots, then microdermabrasion is what you are looking for. It is easy to do and much more affordable when you do it on your own.

In terms of a product that offers ZERO side effects, there really is only one and it’s called Microderm MD. You can read our review via that link.

There are several reasons why more and more people are choosing to do their microdermabrasion at home rather than go through the expense and the often unpleasant experience of going to a dermatologist. This is actually quite an easy process now that the technology has changed so much, and getting the tools you need to do microdermabrasion at home is quite easy.

Each microdermabrasion kit generally comes with a few items, not least of which is the applicator. The microdermabrasion applicator is the key to getting a good quality application of the cream, which enables the top surface of your skin to be polished and the dead cells removed.

In the past, the only place to get this type of procedure done was in an aesthetician’s office or at a dermatologist’s office. This was considered a fairly complex procedure because if too much abrasion was done, the patient could be left with red, sore skin. That is one reason why so many people are choosing the microdermabrasion at home kits because they allow you to control just how much you want to do.

Since you are undoubtedly not a professional when it comes to skin care, there are a few things that you should remember if you are choosing to do this type of thing on your own, though it is generally considered to be very safe.

First of all, make sure that your skin is perfectly clean before you start or you may end up sending bacteria deep down into your pores. Also, after the microdermabrasion is done, it is imperative that you protect your skin from the sun. By wearing a lotion or cream that has a high level of SPF, you will protect your delicate skin from the sun’s harmful rays.

Finally, when you are doing microdermabrasion at home, you should do it on a gradual basis. If you don’t see the results after the first time, then do it a little longer or deeper next time. Just don’t try to do too much on the first try since you might not see the results for several days.

When done properly, microdermabrasion is the easiest and fastest way to take years off of your skin. Your skin will look younger, age spots and fine lines will seemingly disappear, and you will also see a reduction in your overall complexion to the point where people may think you had some work done!

Probably the best microdermabrasion home treatment available right now is Microderm MD. Click that link to read our personal review.

Microdermabrasion is a simple way of exfoliating the skin without scrubbing. We have all used those scrubby sponges to try to get rid of dead cells from our skin, but that often causes more damage than it solves. Microdermabrasion works by shooting tiny little crystals at your skin, which in turn sloughs off the dead cells and allows your younger, fresher skin to shine through. In many ways, it is just like polishing a car.

If you have been thinking of getting a microdermabrasion home kit, then you are not alone. This is fast becoming one of the biggest selling facial care products on the market and is such primarily because the cost of getting microdermabrasion commercially is extremely expensive.

The price of one single microdermabrasion treatment in a medical setting, such as at a dermatologist’s or doctor’s office, may be as much as $200 or $300, and that is after they have charged you a consultation fee. If you were to get the same treatment in a salon or spa, then you should expect to be charged almost the same amount, but because their treatment is less severe, you may end up having to go for more treatments.

A microdermabrasion home kit allows you to get the level of dermabrasion that you want and to continue to work on it over time. These kits are very inexpensive and can range anywhere from around $20 to $200. They use the same technology that the medial and spa treatments use, but they are easier on your skin so you will have fewer side effects.

Most of these microdermabrasion home kit products have a variety of items included with them, including a rotating hand device that shoots the crystals onto your face or massages them in and a cream that is used afterward to help protect your skin.

Keeping your skin out of the sun after microdermabrasion is one of the most important things that you can do to make sure you get the best results. Because you will have new, tender skin showing through, you have to do what you can to protect it from the rays of the sun. By doing so, that skin will grow to be smooth and soft. By moisturizing it and making sure that your entire body is well hydrated, you will finally have the soft, youthful and wrinkle-free skin that you have been searching for.

Really if you’re looking for a microdermabrasion home kit, you can’t go past the Microderm MD. You can read our review via that link.

If you are thinking of getting microdermabrasion on your face or anywhere else on your body, then you should put some serious thought into microdermabrasion cost. This is not an inexpensive procedure, and depending on where you decide to have it done, it could end up costing you hundreds or thousands of dollars.

There are basically three types of microdermabrasion – medical, salon, and home. A medical dermabrasion treatment is the most severe of all the treatments and as such, the recovery time may be substantial. What you will also find out when you see the doctor or skin specialist is that the microdermabrasion cost may be a lot more than you think because they will insist on giving you multiple treatments. It is not at all unusual for people to have to buy up to 10 treatments at a time, at up to $200 or $300 each!

Salon dermabrasion is often less expensive, but depending on the salon or spa you visit, it could be just as expensive. These are considered to be more “luxurious” treatments, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t be effective. These often work as well as those done in a doctor’s office.

Finally, if you are really trying to keep down the microdermabrasion cost, then you should consider doing dermabrasion at home. This is an easy way to get the same types of treatment, albeit on a less severe level at a fraction of the cost. You will find that almost all home dermabrasion kits cost less than $100 and you can use them multiple times. In other words, you could get the same level of treatments for 10 percent of the microdermabrasion cost from other sources.

In many cases, you will find that the at-home microdermabrasion kits are the very same ones that the salons use, which means that they are essentially ripping you off and charging you for having a treatment done in a more luxurious setting. Therefore, learning how to do this simple and safe procedure on your own is well worth it.

There are some basic instructions that come with each kit as well as information on how to treat your skin after the procedure is done. By taking care of your skin afterward and keeping it out of the sun, you will have a successful dermabrasion and be well on your way to looking younger and wrinkle-free for years to come.

In terms of costs, you need to change your thinking to what’s the best value for the money I spend. Ultimately if you purchase a cheaper product or salon treatment, you’re not going to see the best results. Therefore in our minds, there’s only really one product worth purchasing that you can use at home and still get the results you would normally see at some of the best salons and that product is called Microderm MD (click that link to read our review).

A lot of people have had microdermabrasion done in a dermatologist’s office, a spa, or by a trained aesthetician, but until now, the technology has not really been available for people to use at home. The good news is that you can now do microdermabrasion at home safely and at a small fraction of the price that it costs to have a professional do it.

Is It Safe?

The microdermabrasion that is done in a salon or an office setting is the same as what you would do at home, although in some cases their version is a little more severe, which can lead to some dangerous side effects. We have all seen photographs of celebrities after they have had this procedure done, and it often doesn’t look too good.

But when you do microdermabrasion at home, you can take your time, do certain parts of your face or body at one time, and gauge the results before you move on to the next part. Having this level of flexibility is one of the reasons why it is actually safer to do it at home on your own.

How Does It Work?

When you do microdermabrasion at home, what you are doing is shooting small crystals at the surface of your skin, which are then picked up by the device that you are using. These crystals work much like a sandblaster might, sloughing off the dead skin on your face and revealing better-looking skin.

This procedure also works very well for people who have scarring due to accidents or acne, and when used over a certain period of time, it will reduce or remove the scarring completely.

What Happens Afterward?

After you have done your microdermabrasion at home, you need to make sure that you keep your skin out of the sun for at least a few days. Of course, we all have to go out in the sun for our normal daily duties, so put on a good layer of cream or lotion with SPF. This will help to protect your skin, which may be a bit sensitive.

In the meantime, make sure that you stay well hydrated by drinking lots of water and that you keep your skin moisturized day and night with your favorite lotion. This will help to keep the newly revealed layer of skin soft and supple and will help to further reverse the signs of aging.

If you want to go a little bit further, we recommend you read our review on what we think is the best Microdermabrasion at home device on the market today – Microderm MD (click this link to read our review)

When you start to read the microdermabrasion at home reviews, one thing that you will notice is that almost all of the people who have used these products have already had some form of microdermabrasion done either in a spa or a medical setting and were either unhappy with the results or astonished at the cost. Microdermabrasion is turning out to be a popular treatment in spas and dermatologists’ offices, and as such, they are charging more and more for it.

The cost of this procedure when done in a spa or salon, as described in the many microdermabrasion at home reviews that you will see, can be as much as several hundred dollars per visit, and some spas will require you to buy a package of 10 or more treatments! This means that you are paying well over a thousand dollars to get skin that looks younger.

If you were to go to a doctor’s office for this treatment, you would be charged even more and the treatment wouldn’t necessarily be any better. Therefore, many people are writing microdermabrasion at home reviews because there are new products on the market that allow you to do this very same procedure at home at a fraction of the cost.

These at-home kits are easy to use and will provide you with the very same technology that you would get if you were to go to a doctor’s office or the finest spa in town. They use micro-crystals that are either massaged into the face or blasted onto the skin (much like a sand blaster). This helps to get rid of all of the old, dead skin (where the wrinkles are) and also helps the new skin to show through. The massaging aspect of the at-home kits means that your skin is polished and shiny like it hasn’t been in years.

There is one more advantage to reading the microdermabrasion at home reviews – there are so many new products on the shelves that you need to see what people have to say about how they work, how effective they are, and what potential side effects exist. For the most part, if you are careful about the extent of microdermabrasion you do the first time you use it, you should have no side effects and be left with only shiny, young-looking skin with fewer wrinkles and an elimination of any scarring or discoloration.

If you haven’t heard of NuBrilliance before then you’re one of the very few. This microdermabrasion machine has risen to the top of the skincare industry mainly due to the results it’s been achieving and the fact that people can now use it to do professional microdermabrasion at home, instead of having to pay an arm and a leg every time they go into their local beauty salon.

The main question most people have been asking however is whether or not it deserves all the hype it’s been getting over the last few months. This is something we’ll endeavor to answer in this short but detailed review of NuBrilliance.

How Does It Work?

The obvious first question is to determine how the NuBrilliance works so we can compare it to salon style treatments.

Essentially the device works the exact same way as most salon machines. It has a suction cap that tightens before the diamond tip exfoliates, smoothing out the skin.

Now the problem with most at home machines is the level at which they exfoliate. Most aren’t designed well enough and intern are too rough on the skin. This causes painful red marks to appear for several days after treatment.

This we believe is the main reason why NuBrilliance has become so popular – it’s the most gentle on your skin, but at the same time gets results similar to those seen after a salon treatment.

Here’s Why You Should NOT Buy The NuBrilliance

I knew this a long time ago, but ever since people have started to write in about this problem, it’s really solidified it in my own mind and I just had to get it down on paper.

From the comments below you can see the major issue with the NuBrilliance is that it tends to lose its suction power after a few uses. I’m not sure why this happens, but it does and that basically renders it almost completely useless. As a result of this, I’ve had to start telling people to order a more high quality machine like the Microderm MD instead, which definitely does not lose suction after a few treatments.

Although the price is slightly more affordable, I promise you will be much happier if you pay a little more for the better machine.

I never like to say anything bad about a product, but unfortunately the NuBrilliance just doesn’t deliver on its promise. If you have already spent the money on this machine, then you know exactly what I’m talking about.

If you have ever seen anyone right when they are coming out of a dermatologist’s office after a microdermabrasion treatment, you might be astonished at what they look like. Their skin looks red and raw and it takes days, if not weeks, for them to start looking “normal” again. The same can sometimes be said of people who get the same kind of treatment in a local spa or salon. Although microdermabrasion is safe, it can sometimes be taken too far, even when in the hands of an expert.

That is one reason why so many people are choosing a microdermabrasion at home machine instead of paying the big money to have an expert do the same treatment. By doing it at home, not only do you have the ability to do it at the speed at which you want, but you can also return for another treatment time and time again without paying for it.

The price of a microdermabrasion treatment – just one treatment – at a spa or a doctor’s office can run anywhere from $100 to $300. Keep in mind that they may ask you to sign up for 10 or more treatments when you begin, so that means an awful lot of money. When you buy a microdermabrasion at home machine, the entire machine, including all of the ingredients needed, will cost far less than one treatment in a spa.

You will find that you can buy a microdermabrasion at home machine for less than $100 and sometimes for as little as $25. You can continue to use this machine time and time again, over the years, to keep your skin always looking as young as possible. This is an incredible way to save money and it also allows you to do your microdermabrasion on your own schedule, just when you think it is necessary.

The good news is that doing this treatment at home, with your own microdermabrasion at home machine, will be safer as well. This is an easy procedure to learn how to do and because you are the best judge of how you feel and the look you desire, you will be less likely to overdo it like a spa technician might.

If you are really looking for the best way to look younger and get rid of wrinkles, fine line, scarring, and other age-related skin problems, then this is certainly the easiest and most affordable way to do it.

So in our opinion what is the best microdermabrasion machine for home use? Microderm MD and you can read why via that link.

Lightening your skin can be an intimidating experience if you don’t know what to expect. After all, applying a cream or lotion to your skin to adjust the tone and lighten your skin in certain areas without knowing ahead of time what the results will be can really be a frightening and worrisome prospect. Yet with the incredible results that lightening products can give you, such as evening out your skin tone and even helping to turn back the hands of time by erasing sun damage and sun spots, many people do try out these creams and are thrilled with the results. So how do you find the best skin lightening cream?

Ingredients

First, to find the best skin lightening cream, you will want to read through the various ingredients included in each one. You may have to spend a bit of time doing this, as you likely are not familiar with the many ingredients you will find in these products. It is easy to see that a formula is all-natural and feel comfortable with that. However, you will want to take time to research the effects of each of the natural as well as synthetic ingredients if you want to uncover for certain which product will work best without negative side effects.

Consumer Reviews

Consumer reviews are a great place to look for insight into the best skin lightening cream. There are hundreds of reviews that have been posted on the internet, and they are filled with some incredible information like side effects, results, the time it takes to see results, and more. These are the things you really want to know about the products, but be careful not to get swayed by one single overly positive or overly negative review. The trick to reading reviews is to read through several and then try to spot the trend in overall user experience.

The Price

For some people, the best skin lightening cream has nothing to do with price and they are willing to pay whatever is necessary. For most people, however, price is very much an issue, and so you want to consider the price of any solution you choose. Avoid the urge to look at the price along, but instead couple that with how many days of treatment that price will buy you. There is quite a big variation in price with these products, so this is an area you will want to pay special attention to.

I mean most at home machines will work, but ultimately there’s only one in our eyes that’s worth buying and that’s Microderm MD. You can check out our review via that link.
